Our client is one of the world’s leading integrated EPCM organisations, with a vision to help their customers deliver sustainable change.

As projects continue to progress and ramp up, they are seeking several exceptional Instrumentation Engineers to join their dynamic team in the Perth office.

As a key member of the Projects team, you will be responsible for delivering technical instrumentation engineering services that meet company, its clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake engineering design and technical verification (as required) of project deliverables by others.
  • Initiate, manage and supervise engineering resources on projects to meet project requirements on time and within budget. 
  • Ensure the project scopes are clear and that changes comply with project change management processes
  • Produce or oversee production of project Engineering documentation such as datasheets, scopes of work, specifications, technical reports, work instructions, design drawings and calculations.
  • Participate in relevant meetings, workshops, prepare/provide input to progress reports and follow required quality procedures 
  • Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions and conduct technical bid evaluations.
  • Design for appropriate levels of risk and be conscious of HSE input to all elements of the design. 

Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • A recognised engineering degree, with eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia.
  • Substantial technical and practical Oil & Gas experience, including experience working in multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Extensive experience in working with diverse teams across multiple locations to deliver project outcomes (highly desired) including a keen interest in managing and coaching individuals to develop a high performing team.
  • Strong experience in client, inter-discipline and construction interface management
  • Current EEHA competency and FS Eng qualifications would be desirable but not essential.
