JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Create new business opportunities from Greenfield projects (large-scale solar photovoltaic projects >100MW)
Develop, authorize and obtain all the necessary rights to make the project ready for construction and be instrumental in securing the acquisition
Develop the financial structure to enable ibv to maximize the value of the asset by taking the project through to construction and operation (through high leverage debt financing, JV or sales)
Analyze other market entry opportunities in the Latin American region - mainly for growth markets
Propose adding value during the development and construction cycle
- Manage the development service provider to ensure that projects are developed with IBV's DNA
- Development activities
Identify and secure the land, feasibility of grid connection, main licensing and all authorizations until financial close
Manage all local project stakeholders, from the offtaker to the grid operator, government agencies, service providers and contractors
Contracting the necessary services and studies, preparing technical specifications, instructions for bidders and technical analysis of proposals.
Carry out mapping process and projects risk matrix analysis.
Carry out the planning of projects development, including costs, time, and scope controlling through KPI reports.
Corporate set up, initial admin and director/signatory/management
Company legal structure
Governance
Resource and services management: accounting, finance, administrative, baking, etc.
Act as local representative of the ib vogt group in the country, building relationships to key external stakeholders.
Day-to-day operations of the company.
Manage budgets, milestones, schedules and deliverables for assigned development projects
Review of project agreements: PPA, Interconnection, lease agreement, JV agreements, EPC and O&M contract
Interface with all project functional areas: Engineering, Project, Finance, Accounting, Legal
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably finance, law, business
- Experience in solar development business, including proven completion of large-scale solar projects ready for construction and/or financed and/or commissioned
- Proven project management skills during the origination and development stage on large-scale or comparable solar projects
- Understanding of the design and corporate structure of large-scale renewable energy projects
- Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Fluent in English. Other languages would be an advantage
- Willingness to travel

Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop specifications for a variety of equipment.
- Conduct evaluations to ensure optimal solutions for project requirements.
- Prepare documents for inquiries and purchases, ensuring all specifications are met.
- Oversee the entire package delivery process, including supplier follow-up for various equipment such as control systems, metering packages, instruments, and valves.
- Create and maintain essential documentation, including System Control Diagrams (SCDs), Cause & Effect Diagrams (C&Es), instrument and cable lists, data sheets, termination diagrams, etc.
- Handle databases related to tags, I/O, cables, etc., using tools like SmartPlant Instrumentation.
