Job summary:
Will assist in preparing and reviewing engineering and design drawings, change packages. calculations and overall technical evaluations.
Will provide onsite technical support and oversight for testing acceptance and simulation walkthroughs to ensure proper procedures.
Will Support the design and system upgrades from construction phase through the implementation phase.
Top skills needed:
Must have up to date LMS and Qual card with ENG-001 design qualifications
Must have a strong background in Electrical or I&C engineering
Must have an up-to-date Design Qualification from most recent nuclear company
Must hold a 50.59
Must be familiar with Disturbed Control Systems or Programmable Logic Control systems.
No degree is required if overall years of experience is met within the nuclear I&C field.
- Maintain effective relationships with customer to enable the Company to stay informed of customer’s needs as early as possible
- Identify opportunities early and collaborate with Headquarters to develop competitive solutions
- Follow up regularly with customers on potential opportunities
- Take leading role in presenting Company’s technical solutions and proposals to customers
- Traveling to customers to give presentations about the company's products
- Document installed equipment in the facilities visited by updating company’s installed databases
- Collect information about customers to learn their plan for new projects and maintenance, spending strategies
- Develop strategies on how to approach each customer
- Understand the competition and develop strategies on how to win against them
- Understand country regulations/policies/strategies and how they will affect the power service business
- Coordinate activities with other stakeholders in the company
- Responsible for all technical aspects to realize project bids
through contract closeout - Plant performance calculation including the selection of performance parameters and performance optimization
according to the project requirement and competition analysis in
terms of plant performance. - Prepare the technical proposal for Mitsubishi Power’s business
of new project (mainly CCGT Equipment Supply, include EPC
Services, Steam Power Equipment, Air Quality Control System, Fuel Cell and other MHI Power Business Products) within the required timeframe - Support technical clarifications with customers
- Master’s or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Professional knowledge on CCGT Equipment Supply, include EPC Services, Steam Power Equipment, Air Quality Control System, Fuel Cell and engineering functions
- Must have minimum 5 years of experience as mechanical engineer of power generation plant
- Experience bidding on multiple large gas turbine projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Knowledge of thermal power plant especially for CCGT including
general understanding of thermal power plant principal and features of main equipment such as GT and ST - Have an experience to utilize the software of plant performance
calculation such as Ebsilon, GateCycle, and Thermoflow (GT Pro, GT Master) etc.
