Senior Sales Director / VP Sales


We are looking for a Senior Sales Director/ VP of Sales for a leading computer manufacturing MNC headquarted in Taiwan.
The role sits in California, USA  and will be responsible to build and grow the Industrial Sales team, grow the team and drive sales and bring in revenue for the business. This position will be responsible for driving sales strategy and building long term growth with clients and markets within the Industrial Sector.
 

Job Responsibilities

1. Build and Lead a High-Performing Sales Team
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of industrial sales professionals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, ensuring team alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement structured sales processes, tools, and performance metrics to optimize team productivity.
2. Strategic Market Development
  • Drive business development initiatives in the industrial control sector, with a focus on the California market and surrounding regions.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, OEMs, and end-users in industries such as manufacturing, automation, and energy.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, providing insights to inform strategy.
3. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as a key liaison between the sales team, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to create tailored solutions and proposals that meet client needs.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and business cases to secure high-value contracts.
4. Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve growth objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Negotiate and close deals with high-value clients, ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.
5. Expertise in the U.S. and California Markets
  • Leverage deep knowledge of the California industrial landscape, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics to tailor sales strategies effectively.
  • Build and maintain a strong network within the region, ensuring the company’s presence as a trusted industry leader.

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent track record and network for industrial sector clients.
  • Experienced in managing a team and building processes and metrics to optimize productivity.
  • Excellent in internal and external stakeholder managment, including C-Suites.
  • Deep knowledge of the California Industrial Landscape, regulatory requirements and market.
  • Experienced in the sales of Memory and Storage product in the Industrial Sector.
