Airswift is seeking a Sr. Solar Installer to work on a Permanent position in Nassau/Bahamas with a Solar Company.

The Senior Solar Installer will be responsible for leading a team of installers and overseeing the end-to-end installation of solar energy systems, including grid-tied systems, solar battery systems, and hybrid configurations. This role involves hands-on installation work as well as team leadership, ensuring that all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the solar industry, a strong understanding of various solar system types, and the ability to lead and train a team of installers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 
Oversee and lead a team of solar installers, ensuring that all team members are performing their tasks effectively and safely.
 Manage and execute the full installation process of solar energy systems, including site preparation, mounting of panels, wiring, and system commissioning.
 Actively participate in the physical installation of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other components, working alongside the installation team to complete projects on time
Ensure all installations meet quality standards and comply with local codes and regulations.
Perform system testing and commissioning, troubleshooting any issues to ensure optimal system performance.
Conduct pre-installation site assessments to determine the best installation approach and identify any potential challenges.
Train and mentor installation team members, promoting continuous learning and adherence to best practices in solar installation.
Enforce safety protocols and procedures on all job sites to ensure a safe working environment for the installation team.
Interact professionally with customers on-site, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Assist in managing inventory levels of installation materials and tools, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available for upcoming projects.
Maintain accurate records of installations, including site assessments, system designs, and post-installation reports.






JOB QUALIFICATIONS 
Experience in solar installation, with a proven track record of installing both residential and commercial solar systems.
Strong knowledge of various solar system types, including grid-tied, off-grid, and solar battery systems.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading and managing a team of installers.
 Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to solar installation. Understanding of electrical and mechanical components of solar energy systems.
An electrical or engineering background is a plus but not required.
Relevant certifications (such as NABCEP or equivalent) are preferred.
Ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks as part of the installation process
