We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This role involves receiving, storing, and shipping equipment and parts while maintaining compliance with warehousing best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in a bulk plant environment and possess strong operational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of equipment and parts.
- Ensure full compliance with warehousing best practices and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Utilize SAP for receiving, goods issue, purchase order (PO) creation, and related transactions (knowledge of SAP is a plus).
- Operate standard and large forklifts/loaders safely and efficiently.
- Handle bulk products, including loading jumbo bags, sack materials, and drums.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock management.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure proper maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of operational experience with standard and large forklifts/loaders.
- Prior experience in a bulk plant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehousing best practices and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow safety procedures.
