We have partnered with Woodside and the client is seeking a Subsea Engineer to work within their facilities in Perth, Australia on a 1-year casual contract role.

SUMMARY ABOUT THE ROLE
Leads subsea activities, including the planning and execution of all subsea well construction activities across GWS operations within region of responsibility. Provide subsea engineering expertise and technical leadership for subsea projects and peer reviews across the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supports the delivery of all subsea well construction activities including subsea upper completion installation, tubing hanger installation, XT installation.
• Ensures all operations are undertaken safely and efficiently, risks managed, learnings are captured, and improvements implemented.
• Acts as a focal point for project interfaces between subsea completion equipment and the rig.
• Communicates with the SSPL function for coordination of installed equipment delivery and management.
• Assists with interface to the SSPL function for supply of temporary equipment including well control equipment.
• Performs Verification and assurance of subsea well completion activity.
Operations & Engineering Responsibilities:
• Onshore planning and preparation activity for subsea well construction.
• Oversight and support of offshore execution activities.
• Supervision of contractors and service providers performing activities.
• Provide subsea input to detailed completion and intervention procedures.
• Management of interfaces across contractors / service providers - Manage interfaces between subsea completion equipment and rig.
• Manage interface with SSPL function for delivery of equipment. ??????
• Ensure handover of permanent and temporary equipment in conformance with the processes.
REQUIREMENTS
• Engineering degree.
• Drilling, completion, and intervention technical courses.
• +5 years’ experience, with +3 year in operations
• Drives contractor HSE performance with focus on well integrity management
