Responsibilities:
- Act as Company lead and focal point for all design and technical matters with subsea trees, wellheads and associated equipment including IWOCS.
- Work seamlessly with Company’s project team, to support the execution of subsea trees and wellheads scope
- Support the performance management of the SPS EPC, and URF & Topsides EPCIC Contractors. Ensure the testing programme plans and procedures for all Wellhead and Xmas Tree systems deliver technical integrity assurance of all system interfaces prior to shipment for installation.
- Interface and coordinate within the Company’s project management team and between Contractors and other stake holders which include Operations, Subsurface, Drilling, Completions, and URF discipline engineers on matters relating to engineering design, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation, brownfield construction and hook-up & commissioning.
- Ensure Contractors comply with Company requirements and industry standards for subsea wellhead and tree scopes and performance management of Contractors
- Liaise with Company’s quality, pre-commissioning/commissioning and start-up teams and assist in the review of work and start-up procedures, evaluation and resolution of technical issues, active participation in review workshops and inspection to ensure the work is carried out safely and with the minimum interruption.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and other professional development activities in support of discipline engineering staff.
- Responsible for own safety and the protection of others.
- Quality/ HSE Focus and team oriented.
- All works will be conducted in a safe manner utilizing all safety equipment/ procedures and PPE necessary to complete the specific work.
- Play active role in all HSE related areas.

- The development of all relevant procedures and guidelines.
- Complete necessary documentation as and when requested.
- Review and comment on SPS, SURF and Topsides contractors’ documents.
- Review and comment on Package Vendor documents.
- Minimum 15 years of work experience of which at least 10 years must be related to upstream offshore sector.
- Experience in a similar role with an Oil and gas Operator.
- Project and operational Experience in a similar role with an Oil and gas Operator an advantage.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Subsea Tree and Wellhead systems in deep water is a pre-requisite.
- Familiar with all international standards and Codes of Practice.
- Experience with the detailed design of offshore facilities, construction, commissioning and operations of the facilities.
- Intimate familiarity with offshore facilities design, fabrication, onshore testing, offshore installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, direct operations support, and trouble shooting.
- Experience with Brownfield modification and integration projects.
- Previous experience in gas field operation and facilities is an advantage
- Working experience in South-east Asia or China is an advantage.
- A degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline i.e., MSc, BEng, BSc (Hons) or similar.
- Able to communicate and demonstrate leadership experience across projects and teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to openly communicate with team members and peers.
- Ability to work within a team environment and be an active team member.
- Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a multi-discipline, multi-cultural environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally and be relocated to work sites including offshore.
- Be able to work independently with little supervision but strong sense of responsibility.
