Our client, a major Oil & Gas company, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in Midland, TX. This role will be part of the Permian O&M Supply Chain team, focusing on developing and implementing strategic supply chain solutions through sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship building.
Position Overview:
As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Permian O&M Engineering and Operations teams to design and implement supply chain strategies tailored to meet the business's commercial and technical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Plan, execute, control, and monitor supply chain activities to create value. Develop category strategies based on market knowledge.
- Sourcing & Contracting: Lead RFP processes in alignment with the Supply Chain Standard to deliver cost-effective commercial solutions.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contractual terms through Master Service Agreements, Compensation Agreements, Service Orders, and Purchase Orders.
- Supplier Performance Management: Develop, maintain, and implement Supplier Performance Management Plans for key suppliers, providing a mix of strategic insight and tactical support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Completion Supply Chain team to align sourcing and contracting strategies. Collaborate with HSE teams to ensure supplier compliance with HSE standards.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, ensuring all perspectives are valued in supply chain processes.
Qualifications:
Basic/Required:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in supply chain, business, or a related technical field.
- Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, strategic and tactical thinking, attention to detail, and effective analytical skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft O365 applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or a related technical field (or foreign equivalent).
- 2+ years in supply chain, business, or related technical experience.
- Strong networking, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to understand business needs and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Ability to build positive relationships based on trust and collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve shared goals.
