Role summary:
Responsible for the end-to-end TAR/Projects Material process, including but not limited to material creation of ISR for new materials for load into SAP. Creation of all TAR/Projects Purchase Requisitions (PR’s) in SAP including use of SAP Document Management System (DMS) to attach documents, drawings and technical data.
Responsibilities:
- Support and/or coordinate the collation, development and integrity/accuracy of the Major Maintenance bills of materials. Interface with work instruction writers / subject matter experts to ensure specifications and quantities are correct and fit for purpose.
- Create all TAR/Project Purchase Requisitions (PR) in SAP.
- Work closely with the procurement and Expediting teams as well as the Logistics team to monitor materials progress up to arrival in Soyo in order to ensure fulfilment of materials requirements for TAR/Project activities.
- Reserve material in inventory system or creates and approves Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for material required to be procured.
- Work closely with WH Team to follow up on material receipt, material tracking, preservation, and issuing / receiving activities.
- Develop and lead the execution of the project material management plan, providing day-to-day work direction to assigned resources
- Responsible for coordinating all necessary material inspections for newly procured material
- Responsible for validating the existence and condition of material reserved in inventory system utilizing assigned resources and SMEs
- Coordinate with materials management team for the issuance of inventory material and the safe movement of material to project storage site(s)
- Responsible for accurate material receipt, rectifying OS&D (Over, Short, & Damaged), inventory management, preservation, and “bag & tag” per material work packs of all material at project storage site(s) utilizing assigned resources
- Maintain TAR/Projects material tracker
- Responsible for ensuring all OE requirements are followed by assigned resources
- 10 years relevant experience with demonstrated track record of experience with materials planning in the oil and gas industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry Project Coordination
- Sound knowledge of Oil and Gas industry material requirements and specifications.
