Airswift is hiring for a TAR Coordinator to support our client's Turnaround in Geismar, LA. The turnaround will begin end of January 2025 through end of February 2025.
The client is looking for 4 temporary Mechanical Coordination support. They should all have extensive mechanical knowledge and experience; preferably no less than 10 years.
Job responsibilities:
- Monitoring and evaluating project progress, quality, and risk.
- Advising personnel on logistical matters and communicating overall progress through newsletters and flyers. Communicate with the crew, gate, ramp, and operation regularly.
- Ensuring compliance with airline safety procedures and monitoring all personnel involved in the turnaround.
- Ensuring cost efficiency without compromising safety standards.
- Developing plans to shut down, perform maintenance, and start-up operations again. Develop work scopes and prepare budgets.
- Ensuring that material procurement and installation contracts are awarded in a timely manner.
- Monitoring that cash flow is properly maintained to avoid cost overruns.
- Ensuring a smooth handover of completed projects to the operations team.
Scope:
1 position will be Day Shift, and the other 3 positions will be Night shift:
- 1 Days for our Lower reformer / convection section
- 1 Nights for our Lower reformer / convection section
- 1 Nights for our Exchangers
- 1 Nights for our Drums, columns & vessels
Start date: Anytime between January 6th and no later than January 13th.
Schedule: Jan 6 - Jan 23 work on day shift on a 4 – 10’s basis until the event begins (~1/23/25). Then would roll to their respective shift once notified. At that point they would begin 7 – 12’s coverage until the Turnaround ends, likely around 2/25/25
