Main Accountabilities
The holder of the position is responsible for:
• Follow up and check SAS and B&G systems as a daily routine, according to weekly schedules, maintenance plans established in SAP, and follow up and report history and deviations. Introduce appropriate measures to maintain the correct condition of operation.
• Implement immediate action in the event of an alarm, by following the operating manual and/or instructions received, identifying and reporting possible deviations and working together to define corrective measures.
• Identify and record specific operational parameters using appropriate means and focus on potential deviations.
• Monitor and supervise planned and unplanned shutdowns and start-ups.
• Participate in the coordination of the plant operator's daily activities
• Coordinate with the maintenance manager and subject manager during maintenance work.
• Contribute to the training of technicians to promote knowledge and understanding of the operation of SAS and B&G systems in SKR and in the field.
• Contribute to on-the-job training of apprentices to promote knowledge and understanding of the operation of SAS and the B&G system in SKR and in the field.
• Participate when needed and by agreement with the line manager in external activities to ensure that user contributions are included in project development.
• Participate in SJA when needed to ensure that the job is carried out in accordance with VE governing documents and procedures.
• Participate when needed in external activities to support daily operations or smaller projects/upgrades.
• Ensure that internal and external operational parameters are within the process framework and prove possible deviations
• Promote a positive safety culture and coordinate support activities, e.g. security exercises, investigations, etc.
• Prepare and finalise relevant reports on activities and ensure that all relevant documentation is complete, accurate and timely, providing a detailed shift handover at the job site
• Follow up and perform work according to the program for first line maintenance in SAP
• Participate and function as part of the team as an instrument technician, and perform this in accordance with VE governing documents and procedures in an efficient and safe manner
• Participate and function as a member of the emergency response organization in emergency situations and exercises
Main Tasks
  • Keep the plant operational and running as described in the production plan, the PSA's regulations and RE's control systems.
  • Support the operations team in carrying out their tasks. Helping the Instrument Team to perform its tasks
Education/Experience
Certificate of Apprenticeship Instrument / Automation
4-5 years of experience
Norwegian and English
