Airswift are currently partnering with a large exploration and production company who are currently in need of an experienced and motivated Production Technician to be based offshore in the North Sea, flying from Stavanger. The Technician will be based from Stavanger, Norway and will be a key player in ensuring safe, stable, and efficient of production facilities. The client is looking for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of HSE regulations and an offshore survival certification. Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the process plant using control systems
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and report nonconformities
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations departments to ensure continuous operation
- Carry out sampling and analyses to ensure that the production quality meets the requirements
- Report incidents, errors or suggestions for improvement through established systems
- Participate in risk assessments, safety rounds and safety meetings
- Act as area manager when issuing work
Qualifications and Requirements
- Vocational certificate as a process technician, or equivalent education in chemistry/process subjects.
- Experience from operation of process plants, preferably from offshore.
- Offshore certificates.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards within the oil and gas industry.
- Good IT skills, especially in the use of control and reporting systems.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Good knowledge of the work permit system
