The Company / Project
We are recruiting for a renowned renewable energy company focusing on decarbonisation solutions and power generation projects. The client's in-house design team supports renewable power and battery storage projects across Australia. With a robust pipeline of work spanning 3-4 years, current projects include transmission lines, substations, solar farms, battery storage facilities, and wind farms. The team culture is tight-knit, innovative, and supportive, with a diverse mix of experience levels and a focus on cutting-edge energy projects.

The Role

As a Civil Designer, you will assist the Lead Engineer in designing civil structures, including site development and drainage systems. Your responsibilities will also include 3D earthworks modelling for transmission, solar, and wind infrastructure, creating general arrangements and layout drawings, and conducting quality checks on design documentation to ensure accuracy.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience in civil design, with a focus on site development and drainage systems. Ideally, 4 years of experience within an EPC/EPCM Environment
  • Proficiency in 3D earthworks modelling software.
  • Strong skills in creating general arrangements and layout drawings.
  • Attention to detail for conducting quality checks and reviews.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and supportive team.
  • Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid Australian working visa.
