Instrumentation Engineer – London, UK
Brief job description:
- Assist in the supervision and follow up of the Contractors Instrumentation and Control Activity activities carried out for the
- provide support to challenge the FEED Contractors during the FEED phase 2 engineering exercise. Promote alternatives
- timely review and comment the Instrumentation and ICSS engineering documents; liaise with other engineering
- ensure Plant Instrument and ICSS engineering consistency, constructability, operability and flexibility.
- ensure that the engineering activities related to Instrumentation and ICSS matters are performed in compliance with
level of quality, high HSE Standards, with respect of the Project highly sensitive environment, and within the agreed time
schedule and cost,
- assist as requested to formalize, get validation and approval of the proposed derogations on contextualized GS-EP-INS;
- avoid Contractors stand-by/delays by prompt response to engineering queries and unexpected technical issues, by a
- Support as requested in preparing the ICSS Scope of Work, market survey, technical bid evaluation for early ICSS vendor
- provide support in his/her field of expertise, to compare and evaluate the CPF-Wellpads FEED Contractors during the
- assist the Commissioning team for the preparation of the commissioning activities; and Operations in the preparation of
- support preparation and participate in Project reviews, Functional Safety Assessment, CCR Ergonomic and alarm study,

Key responsibilities and main tasks:
- To adopt & demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE requirements.
- To provide a strong HSSE leadership and to define and ensure the effective implementation of the Project HSSE policy and commitment, by providing all necessary resources.
- To adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and to promote and enforce the Corporate Anti-Corruption Program within the project team.
- Organization: member of the Instrumentation and ICSS team
- Engineering follow-up: To control the Contractors’ performance in Instrumentation and ICSS discipline and in his perimeter: timely delivery and review of Contractor’s engineering documents, studies and queries through an efficient technical coordination scheme with the Contractors
- Engineering compliance: To ensure compliance of Instrumentation and ICSS engineering with the Project requirements and applicable standards.
- To ensure timely implementation of Instrumentation and ICSS related audit findings
- Reporting: To ensure adequate and timely reporting
- Qualification: Engineer, or Equivalent
- Languages: English mandatory
- Professional Experience: >10 years in Oil and Gas projects
- Experience in similar position (years): 5 years at same or equivalent position
